Register for the 25th International Symposium on Shiftwork and Working Time!

Join us for the 25th International Symposium on Shiftwork and Working Time, a biennial event held since 1969, organized by the Working Time Society (WTS). This year, the symposium will take place in Guarujá, a beautiful coastal region just 100 kilometers from São Paulo, Brazil. The central theme will be "Basic-to-Translational Science for Preventing and Managing Chronic Diseases in Shift Workers: Challenges and Barriers Hindering Progress."

The symposium welcomes both scientists and professionals from industry, health and safety sectors, and policymakers. It will focus on fundamental and applied issues related to shift and night work, a topic of significant relevance as approximately 30% of the global workforce is engaged in non-standard schedules, which are associated with increased risks of various health disorders.

Guarujá - São Paulo - Brazil

One of the best-known resorts in Brazil, Guarujá, which is 98 km from São Paulo, is practically synonymous with tourism.

Its 27 beaches along 22 km of coastline, each with its own peculiarity, extension and beauty, make this destination the perfect combination of sun, sea and the green of the Atlantic Forest that frames them.

And it is in this paradise, at the Hotel Jequitimar Guarujá Resort & Spa By Accor that the event will be held.
